In January 2020, we discontinued the cartridge guard column, and released “Develosil Guard Filter.”
Under the slogan of “obtaining more real analysis results,” Nomura Chemical focused on the effects of guard columns, and concluded that “in order to obtain highly reproducible results, it is necessary to nullify the effects of factors other than columns.” However, the accumulation of insoluble materials and tiny trash inside a column would spoil the column in a moment. Accordingly, we prepared Develosil Guard Filter, in order to maintain the reproducibility of real analysis results while protecting columns. Develosil Guard Filter can be directly attached to a column, so it is possible to attach it readily without worrying about dead volume, and its cost performance is excellent.
